Hi everyone! 

great to be here.

Parents, no need to thank us!  

We are Roey & Hadas,  a writer/composer/music-producer and an illustrator/visual-artist/graphic-designer, respectively.

In our search for a project we can combine both our passions on, we came across the Kinetic/Visual Novel genre and instantly fell in love with the format (after filtering out all the porn), in our opinion; kinetic novels offer the best platform for artistic outlet and are also great fun to read. so we started this little project studio.

Given the fact that we never programmed anything in the 30 (and a hefty somewhat) years we've been around, and have zero understanding of code, we decided,  at least for this first little project where we dip our toes in the murky waters of the Kinetic Novel world, to use an engine that doesn't require any coding.  We ended up going for a very fun (albeit very dead) Visual Novel engine: "VN Maker", that is (we quickly came to realize) as know as it is despised.

So after a very long time of trying to figure out how it works,  having to resort to the only information sources available which are YouTube tutorials made over 7+ years ago on a version of the software that no longer exists (even the current version  is effectively ancient history, with the latest update being in 2022), and after that trying in vain to ask for some advice on Reddit\Discord groups who are deader than a Diddy party after they ran out of baby oil that one time (he never made that mistake again)...

finally:

We're excited to share with you our first little release!  it's available for free.

"The Great Book of Naps" is a tiny short story told as a Kinetic Novel about a kid who doesn't like taking naps.

We don't have kids because we're not masochistic and we like our lives, but a lot of our friends keep complaining that their little ankle-biters are more hyper than coked-up ferrets and to the great dismay of their red-eyed parents/kindergarten teachers refuse to take naps. So as a selfless service to our poor friends, we created this free children's story.

Do we think this will help?

Is it a good enough of an excuse to why two grown ass people with full time carriers decide to sacrifice what little sanity artists initially have to make computer games at 30++ years old?

Well... you be the judge of that.
